Ridgewood NJ Man Arrested, Allegedly Had Marijuana and Ammunition at His Residence

Police recently arrested a man accused of having marijuana, drug-related items, and a high-capacity ammunition magazine in his Ridgewood NJ home.

Police received a report of illegal activity at a residence located on Pershing Avenue in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Authorities then got a search warrant and sent officers, including SWAT units and K9 units, to the scene.

The search warrant was executed by members of the Ridgewood Police Department and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

Once police were inside the house, they allegedly found marijuana drug paraphernalia, and the high-capacity magazine.

As a result of what police discovered, the 23-year-old suspect placed under arrest. He has been charged with several drug crimes, including marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession. He has also been charges with weapons offenses because the ammunition magazine was allegedly found inside his house.

If the suspect is eventually convicted on the weapons charges or the drug charges, he could be subject to significant criminal penalties.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect was taken to the Bergen County Jail. He is being held at the facility on a $30,000 bail amount.
