Two Women Allegedly Fight at Bar in Paramus, NJ

Paramus Simple Assault LawyersParamus NJ law enforcement is looking into a violent fight at a local bar. According to authorities, one of the women involved in the fight had part of her earlobe bitten off during the altercation.

The violent incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. at Miller’s Ale House, which is located along Route 4 in Paramus, NJ. One of the women was reportedly highly intoxicated and became belligerent just before getting into the physical altercation.

The Paramus Police Department dispatched cops to the bar after receiving a report about the woman who was allegedly drunk. When Paramus police officers arrived at the scene, they saw the aftermath of the violent altercation.

The woman who was seriously injured in the fight was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where doctors treated her for the wound to her ear. The other woman involved in the fight was transported to a different hospital: Bergen Regional Medical Center.

The Paramus police chief indicated that the main suspect in the bar fight was “heavily intoxicated” and “uncooperative with the investigation.”

If Paramus prosecutors decide that either woman should be criminally charged in the case, they would likely face charges for aggravated assault or simple assault.
