Garfield NJ Cleaning Woman Accused of Thefts and Burglaries throughout New Jersey
Authorities recently connected a Garfield NJ cleaning woman to the theft of a Boonton Township residence last year.
According to police, the 23-year-old suspect stole jewelry valued at nearly $3,000. The jewelry was allegedly taken from a Boonton Township home where the suspect worked as a cleaning lady.
The victim reported the theft to Boonton Township police in February 2014.
Boonton Township NJ detectives conducted an extensive investigation and eventually connected the suspect to the theft.
The suspect, a Garfield NJ resident, now faces charges for third degree theft of movable property.
At the time the charges were filed, the suspect was already locked up in Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey. According to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is being held at the correctional facility on unrelated theft charges out of Upper Saddle River, NJ.
Additionally, inmate records indicate that the suspect faces several other theft charges. The suspect is accused of committing burglaries in Wallington NJ and Garfield NJ. The Garfield burglary occurred at a residence located on Orchard Street. The theft reportedly involved another suspect.
