Hasbrouck Heights Man Charged with Child Endangerment, Accused of Using Internet to Download Child Porn

Hasbrouck Heights Child Endangerment SuspectA Hasbrouck Heights man was recently arrested on child pornography charges.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit began an investigation after receiving information that the 25-year-old suspect was going online and downloading sexually explicit images of children.

When investigators started to look at the suspect’s online activity, they determined that he had viewed and downloaded images of child pornography.

Investigators later executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. According to authorities, police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the residence.

Police arrested the suspect a short time later. He has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child because of the child pornography. Additionally, the suspect has been charged with a number of drug offenses, including simple possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.

After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspect was released from custody on his own recognizance. He will have to appear in court at a later date in order to address the very serious charges against him.
