In a major overhaul of its website, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has released information about several people wanted for alleged crimes.
Many of the people sought have been wanted for years, but the information on the website is newly posted as part of an effort to make the website more useful to both the public and law enforcement.
Several of the people listed on the website are wanted for alleged assaults and sexual assaults.
Another suspect, Agustin Ramos-Ortiz, is wanted on a charge of attempted murder. According to an America’s Most Wanted online report, Mr. Ramos-Ortiz violently stabbed two (2) victims in Mountain Lakes in January 2010. Police reports indicate that the victims barely survived the violent encounter.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office describes Mr. Ramos-Ortiz as standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. The prosecutor’s office indicates that Mr. Ramos-Ortiz has brown hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in Montville, New Jersey.
Anyone with information on any of the suspects listed on the website is asked to contact the prosecutor’s office’s fugitive unit at (973) 285-6300.
