Teaneck NJ Woman Allegedly Embezzled Cash from Harrington Park Business

Harrington Park NJ Theft SuspectA Teaneck New Jersey woman faces criminal charges for allegedly embezzling $160,000 from a Harrington Park NJ business.

The suspect is a 32-year-old woman who lives in Teaneck, New Jersey. She worked as an accountant for a business located in Harrington Park, NJ. According to law enforcement, the suspect used company computers to access payroll funds and then transfer the money to her personal account.

Bergen County NJ prosecutors believe that the suspect stole the money between September 2016 and January 2017.

It was in January when other company workers noticed the missing cash and alerted authorities. The Harrington Park Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a joint investigation into the suspect and eventually decided to arrest her. She was placed under arrest in Paramus, NJ.

The suspect has been charged with multiple theft crimes, including computer-related theft and theft by deception.

In addition to facing the criminal charges for theft, the suspect was also fired from her job with the Harrington Park company.
