Palisades Park Man Faces Drug Crime Charges in Hudson County, New Jersey

Palisades Park Drug Crime ChargesA Palisades Park resident and a North Bergen resident were arrested and charged with drug distribution in Hudson County after police allegedly found them with cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine.

Police arrested the suspects shortly after obtaining search warrants and searching the men’s residences in Palisades Park and North Bergen.

The Palisades Park NJ suspect is a 57-year-old man who lives on the 100 block of Grantwood Avenue, while the North Bergen NJ suspect is a 48-year-old man who lives on the 9200 block of Kennedy Boulevard.

The suspects have been charged with numerous drug crimes, including possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Additionally, the suspects face enhanced penalties for allegedly distributing the illegal drugs near a school zone.

If the suspects fail to reach a plea deal with Hudson County prosecutors and wind up being convicted at trial, they would face severe criminal penalties. The Palisades Park NJ suspect could potentially be sentenced to 10-20 years in NJ State Prison on the first degree charges, while the North Bergen suspect could potentially be punished with life imprisonment because he has a criminal record that includes a prior felony drug distribution conviction.
