Suspect Allegedly Attacked Woman with Bleach in East Rutherford, NJ
Police in East Rutherford are on the lookout for a man who allegedly assaulted a woman with bleach a few months ago.
The suspect allegedly committed the violent crime at a Schindler Court residence in East Rutherford, New Jersey. According to authorities, the suspect and the victim were acquaintances who got into a verbal dispute at the East Rutherford residence. The suspect allegedly became so angry during the argument that he urinated on the victim’s floor.
The victim tried to clean the floor with bleach, but the suspect allegedly poured the bleach on the victim and then dragged her across the floor. The suspect reportedly punched the victim and then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect, a 28-year-old East Rutherford resident, is still at large. Police investigators think that he could be in Paterson or the Bronx right now.
If law enforcement officials can figure out where the suspect is hiding and then apprehend him, he will be subject to severe criminal penalties for aggravated assault.
