Police Nab Lyndhurst NJ Man Accused of Burglarizing Ocean County House
Police officers recently arrested a Lyndhurst New Jersey man who allegedly committed a burglary at a Manchester NJ house.
The suspect, and another man, allegedly tried to break into a home located on Molly Pitcher Boulevard in the Crestwood Village 4 part of Manchester, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the two male suspects attempted to enter the Manchester NJ house through windows. The suspects first tried to remove window screens, then allegedly hurled a rock through a window. The commotion woke up a resident, who contacted local police.
A Manchester NJ officer was dispatched to the scene, where he encountered the victim. Police interviewed witnesses and soon identified the two suspects as a 19-year-old Lyndhurst NJ man and a 23-year-old Beachwood NJ man.
Law enforcement apprehended the Lyndhurst suspect and charged him with one count of criminal attempt-burglary.
The second suspect is still at-large. If and when the suspect is arrested, he will face criminal charges for criminal attempt-burglary and criminal mischief.
