Wyckoff NJ Police Arrest Uber Driver Who Allegedly Committed Sexual Assault

Wyckoff Sexual Assault ChargesAn Uber driver who resides in Paterson New Jersey faces very serious criminal charges for sexual assault after he allegedly raped one of his passengers in Wyckoff, NJ.

The suspect is a 31-year-old male from Paterson, NJ. He allegedly sexually assaulted a female passenger around 2:00 a.m. after dropping her off at a residence in Wyckoff, New Jersey. According to authorities, the 27-year-old victim arranged for an Uber ride by using an online app on her phone. The Uber driver reportedly picked her up at an undisclosed location and then took her to her Wyckoff NJ home. When they arrived at the residence, the suspect allegedly committed the sex crime.

After being attacked, the victim contacted Wyckoff NJ police and reported the alleged sex crime. Wyckoff police officers were sent to the scene to investigate and gather evidence. Wyckoff NJ investigators later determined the suspect’s identity by calling Uber.

Police eventually arrested the suspect and charged him with multiple crimes, including sexual assault.

Although the criminal charges are pending, the suspect has already been fired by Uber.

After being arrested and processed, the suspect was ordered held at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack on a $250,000 bail amount.
