West NY Man Allegedly Committed Sex Crimes against 12-Year-Old Girl in Fairview, New Jersey
Fairview New Jersey police recently arrested a man who has been accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl at a local home.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department started a joint investigation into the suspect after getting a report that the underage victim had been sexually assaulted. The victim’s family reached out to the Fairview Police Department, which then alerted Bergen County prosecutors.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit investigated the sex crime allegations and soon determined that there was enough evidence to connect the suspect to the alleged sexual assault of the minor victim.
The suspect has been accused of committing the sexual offenses on more than one occasion at a residence in Fairview, New Jersey.
The suspect is a 25-year-old resident of West New York, NJ. He faces a number of criminal charges, including sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and child endangerment.
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was taken to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ. He was being held at the correctional facility in lieu of $250,000 bail.
