Suspects Allegedly Robbed, Threatened Woman at Elmwood Park NJ Apartment

Police recently apprehended two men accused of committing an armed robbery at a residence in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

The robbery went down early in the morning. According to Elmwood Park officials, three suspects illegally gained access to an apartment on Donor Avenue in Elmwood Park, NJ.

The suspects allegedly confronted the three occupants of the apartment and said that they would kill.

The suspects reportedly brandished handguns and ordered the suspects to get on the floor and not move. For the next 40 minutes, the suspects allegedly raided the apartment and took the victims’ personal possessions. Among the stolen items were multiple television sets, iPads, iPhones, and purses.

The good news is that none of the victims was injured during the scary incident.

As soon as the suspects left the residence, the victims called Elmwood Park NJ police and alerted them to the theft.

Elmwood Park NJ police officers went to the area and found two of the suspects sitting in a motor vehicle. The police officers then placed the suspects under arrest.

During a subsequent search of the suspects’ vehicle, Elmwood Park police allegedly found the items that had been stolen from the apartment.

Later that same day, officers searched the area surrounding the apartment building and reportedly discovered a rifle that had been hidden in the bushes.

The two suspects who were captured, a 20-year-old Paterson male and a 32-year-old Paterson NJ male, have been charged with multiple crimes, including armed robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

Elmwood Park police are trying to find the third suspect. He is said to be a black male who is roughly 5-feet-6-inches tall and who was wearing all-black clothing on the day of the theft incident.
