Hackensack Man Who Taught P.E. in Paterson NJ Charged with Criminal Sexual Contact

Hackensack Criminal Sexual Contact ChargesA man from Hackensack NJ has been charged with criminal sexual contact after he allegedly committed a sex crime involving a 10-year-old girl at a school in Paterson, New Jersey.

According to authorities, the 36-year-old Hackensack NJ man was employed as a physical education teacher at School 8 in the Paterson school district when he committed the sexual offenses. He allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with the underage girl, who was a student at the school.

In September 2015, the suspect received a transfer from School 10 to School 8 for unspecified reasons. Not long after the suspect was arrested and charged with the sex crime, School 8 fired him as a P.E. teacher.

The suspect faces very serious criminal charges for multiple sexual offenses, including aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

After being arrested and processed, the suspect secured his release from police custody at Passaic County Jail in Paterson by posting a $50,000 bail amount. Under the terms of the suspect’s bail, he will be prohibited from any unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 18.
