Paterson NJ Men Placed Under Arrest, Accused of Burglary in Saddle River NJ

Saddle River Burglary ChargesPolice in Saddle River NJ arrested two men accused of trying to break into a local residence.

Saddle River police received a report of two men trying to burglarize a home located on Chestnut Ridge Road in Saddle River, NJ.

When officers got to the residence, the suspects were had left. A resident told the officers that the suspects fled the scene in a car. The resident also provided officers with a detailed description of the suspects’ vehicle.

Sometime later, Saddle River police officers spotted a vehicle matching the witness’ description. Two 25-year-old Paterson NJ men were inside the vehicle.

Officers placed the suspects under the arrest without incident. The suspect have been charged with several crimes, including burglary, defiant trespass, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The suspects also face charges for illegal possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia because police allegedly found drugs and drug-related items in the motor vehicle.

After being placed under arrest, the suspects were taken to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail amounts.
