N.Y. woman charged with first degree murder in River Edge

A New York woman was arrested in Connecticut last night and charged with first degree murder surrounding the deaths of her ex-boyfriend and another woman in River Edge earlier this week. The names of the victims have not been released because authorities are still trying to notify family members. The alleged murders took place sometime Tuesday in a home on Millbrook Road in River Edge. The accused allegedly used a firearm and a knife to commit the murders. In New Jersey, murder charges are governed by N.J.S.A. 2C:11-3 which provides that, if the accused is convicted, she will be facing thirty (30) years to life in prison.
